Pre-season training: Week 6

You're nearly there. Five weeks of hard graft are behind you and the first whistle of the new season is about to blow. It's time to put all your hard work to the test by taking it to the pitch.

“Pre-season is a good opportunity to make a first impression, so put in the extra work,” says Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson. “Focus on what you want to do in the first match.”

You’ve completed the technical drills, seen out the gym programme and followed the right diet (most days) – everything is in place for you to make this your best ever season.

Before you line-up for that opening game you’ve one final week to get through. Download the link at the top of the page and complete your Everest. Well done.

FourFourTwo Staff

FourFourTwo was launched in 1994 on the back of a World Cup that England hadn’t even qualified for. It was an act of madness… but it somehow worked out. Our mission is to offer our intelligent, international audience access to the game’s biggest names, insightful analysis... and a bit of a giggle. We unashamedly love this game and we hope that our coverage reflects that.
